Groups defines a set of IP addresses/networks, a set of Tel. numbers / prefixes and set of emails. The groups can be used in several places across the entire WEB GUI. It is typical to define all SIP trunks from an operator as a group which can be used in Alerts or Filters. An IP groups allows users to check the Trunk check box, which is used to distinguish between internal/incoming/outgoing calls in CDR filters.
