Note from 2025: Latest ionCube php modules require glibc >=2.14. So the distributions with older glibc will not work. So Debian 8, Ubuntu 12.04, Centos 7 and higher should work. For older distributions you can try the Legacy Loader Packages from ionCube site. It's for glibc >=2.4.
